You will find that these goals define the content and schedule for this conference. Every sessions is focused around discipleship, and the schedule includes lengthy breaks between sessions to give you time to connect with your fellow attendees so that you can build friendships to encourage and support one another.

1-Day Conference that will…

~ bring you together with other individuals who wish to pursue Christian storytelling.
~ teach you how to effectively, respectfully, and authentically weave into your stories the truth of who God is, what He has done, and what He is doing.
~ encourage you to not grow weary and to hold fast to your pursuit of placing God at the center of your storytelling.
~ unite you with other storytellers to help you exhort and encourage one another in using the gifts God has given you to go and make disciples (Matt 28:19)
Stories are a powerful tool for expressing truth.
We have the opportunity to use stories to share about Jesus–the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Culturally there’s a lot of pushback against anyone who chooses to use their voice and talents to intentionally share their Christian faith. That is why this conference is focused on helping storytellers navigate this pressure and succeed in triumphantly sharing well-crafted stories that effectively disciple others.
If you have pursued Christian storytelling for any length of time, you’ve probably heard some version of one of these comments:
“You can just make your stories clean, they don’t have to be Christian.” (i.e. Don’t bring up God. He doesn’t sell well.)
“Christianity in stories is always either preachy or cheesy.” (i.e. If you do bring up God, you’ll do it wrong.)
